Walking and Wine is a trip to now the best place of Penedès with is region of wine producers. Long considered one of the country’s best wine-producing regions after the Rioja, it is also one of the most ancient viticultural areas in Europe. Perhaps better-known for its Cava production, a sparkling wine which has had its own Denomination of Origen since 1991, white grape varieties predominate, although the region also produces some highly regarded, oak-aged reds.

Technical data shows the hike level scheduled on this trip. Level 2 (on a scale of 5). A completed guided Walk. Start walking point at Santuari del Foix. The trail goes across the Ilex and Pin forest to River Foix Cnyon Acumulated climbing about 350 meters and them up back across wine farmers. Distance 10 km. Hike duration 4h, plus 1,5h transfer and 1,5h return. Them at 3 pm we will stop at Torres wine producer for a wine show and walk around the vinyards. Please be dressed in your hiking boots, mountain clothes according to weather forecast, follow update comments, and rain jacket (recommended GoreTex). What Price doesn’t include: Shuttle return from Barcelona with private car – VW Caravelle T5 with 8 seats, motorway toll (We will share vehicle expenses, it will about 12 € per person according to the number of participants Payment in the spot), and gear, drinks and meals neither. And Test wine ticket , it will be from8,5 € opptionally
